I had lockjaw and couldn't open my mouth more than 2 inches for 2 weeks! I called Delaune Dental, and they got me in right away! Everyone who worked there was so sweet!! They even followed up with a phone call to make sure their interventions/splint worked...which they did!!! I can now open my mouth again thanks to these wonderful people! I have had TMJ for a very long time. I have seen several Dentist who have tried to help with the jaw popping and cracking, and the stiffness, but no success. One morning my jaw was stuck open I started looking for another doctor to see as I was in so much pain. I found Dr. Delaune number on the internet and called, they fit me in right away with a reasonable fee, the most reasonable fee around. I arrived at the office and was pleasantly surprised how friendly, gentle and caring Dr. Delaune and staff were to me. Dr. Delaune was patient and understood what I was going through and explained to me in detail what TMJ was and how we should treat it correctly. I am in treatment now and his treatment plan has helped me a lot. Dr. Delaune takes his time every appointment to review my device and evaluate me. I would highly recommend Dr. Delaune and his staff to everyone who is in need of treatment.
I came to Dr. Delaune with very bad TMJ pain. I had been dealing with the issue for the better course of 6 months at that point and was going in circles with treatment. As a horn player it was very frustrating and starting to affect my career. Dr. Delaune was very knowledgeable in answering all my questions and getting me into the right splint devices to begin a path of healing.
